  • Prof. Nagaraj R., Director, DA-IICT presented the research paper co-authored with Mr. Hardik Meisheri, M.Tech Student and Dr. Suman K. Mitra, DA-IICT titled 'Multiclass Common Spatial Pattern with Artifacts Removal Methodology for EEG Signals' in 4th International Symposium on Computational and Business Intelligence-2016 (ISCBI 2016) held at Olten, Switzerland during September 5-7, 2016. His presentation was selected as the 'Best Presentation' at the session.

  • The Faculty of Life Sciences, The University of Manchester, UK has invited Ms. Vandana Ravindran, PhD Scholar as Visiting Researcher under the University's Program for visiting academics. She will be at the University in March 2016 conducting research under the supervision of Prof David Robertson and Dr Jean-Marc Schwartz, faculty members of the Faculty of Life Sciences.

  • Tata Consultancy Services has selected Ms. Jainisha Sankhavara, PhD Scholar, DA-IICT for 'TCS Scholar Programme' with effect from the academic year 2015-16 for a period of four years. This prestigious program entitles her for attractive fellowship, contingency grant and travel support to present research papers at national and international conferences. Her mentor/guide is Prof. Prasenjit Majumder.

  • DA-IICT and the University of Evora (Universidade de Evora), Portugal signed a five year MoU for academic exchange, collaboration in teaching and research and exchange of scientific materials and publications for advancement and dissemination of learning. Under the provisions of the MoU, DA-IICT is one of the Asian University Partners with the University of Evora in the Erasmus Mundus Fellowship Program of the European Commission.

  • Zarana Parekh (B.Tech Hons. in ICT with minor in Computational Science 2013), has been selected for the prestigious Viterbi-India Program 2016 at the University of Southern California.

  • ICICI Bank: Signed MoU to participate at the ICICITrinity Program. The Program encourages and promotes students' talent with a view to bring forth new ideas and innovations which can be applied in the banking/finance industry and help in their commercialization. The Program supports final year UG/PG students of five students team. In case of PhD Scholars, single Scholar can seek support.
