Agriculture and Rural Development (with ICT perspective): DA-IICT has undertaken to focus on this niche area through postgraduate studies at master’s and doctoral levels. Our broad objective is to integrate ICT with ARD to create a unique paradigm which, to the best of our knowledge, no other institution in the country is offering and which affords numerous opportunities for students. Suitable candidates should have a Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics, Information Systems, Remote Sensing and GIS, Automation in Agriculture, Agriculture Science, Agriculture Engineering, ICT Applications in Agriculture and have experience of research and developmental work in the area of ICT applications in Agriculture and Rural Development. Design: The Masters in Communication Design (M.Des.) program at DAIICT is looking for faculty with specializations in the broad areas of Visual Communication, User-Interface Design and Cultural Studies. Preference will be given to applicants who are able to relate their individual specializations to the larger interdisciplinary thrust of the program (please see appropriate section on our website). The overall aim of the program is to equip aspiring professionals in the field of communication design with the critical, aesthetic and technical inputs needed to design products and services for the creative industries, the social sector and the educational system at large. Applicants are required to submit a detailed CV along with a statement describing what they can contribute to the program and how their individual specializations match up to the requirements of this interdisciplinary curriculum. Post-graduate qualifications in the relevant discipline is necessary.
Suitable candidates must have a doctorate in a relevant discipline. We have openings at the levels of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor. Visiting faculty positions are also available for short or long term visits.
