Agriculture and Rural Development (with ICT perspective): DA-IICT has undertaken to focus on this niche area through postgraduate studies at master’s and doctoral levels. Our broad objective is to integrate ICT with ARD to create a unique paradigm which, to the best of our knowledge, no other institution in the country is offering and which affords numerous opportunities for students. Suitable candidates should have a Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics, Information Systems, Remote Sensing and GIS, Automation in Agriculture, Agriculture Science, Agriculture Engineering, ICT Applications in Agriculture and have experience of research and developmental work in the area of ICT applications in Agriculture and Rural Development. Suitable candidates must have a doctorate in a relevant discipline. We have openings at the levels of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor. Visiting faculty positions are also available for short or long term visits.
