Prof. Ganesh N Devy
Maharashtra Sahitya Parishad Award 2007 for the best Marathi book of the year “Vanaprastha”. The same book won him Durga Bhagwat Memorial Award 2007 by Shabda, Bombay, Sahakar Mahasrshi Award 2007 and Maharashtra State Literature and Culture Department Award 2006. He has won Prince Claus Award by Prince Claus Fund, Netherlands, 2003 for his contribution to literature.
He is Member, Indian Council for Social Sciences Research (ICSSR), 2005-2007; Member, Working Group on Indian Languages, Planning Commission, 2006; Chairperson, Technical Advisiory Committee on Denotified and Nomadic Tribes, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, 2006; Member, National Council for Languages, 2006 and Visiting Scholar, University of Ulster at Coleraine, UK, 2005.
Dr. Manjunath Joshi
Dr. Manjunath Joshi was awarded Dr. Vikram Sarabhai Award for the year 2006-07 in the field of Information Technology by the Government of Gujarat, India.
Dr. Rahul Dubey
Authored a book on Introduction to Embedded System Design using Field Programmable Gate Arrays that has been published by Springer in Dec 2008. This provides a starting point for the use of FPGAs in the design of embedded systems. The text considers a hypothetical robot controller as an embedded application and weaves around it related concepts of FPGA-based digital design.
