Biography

Dr. Ahlad Kumar has joined DAIICT in July 2019. He has served as the postdoctoral fellow in Concordia University, Montreal, Canada. Dr. Kumar won the prestigious Horizon Postdoctoral Fellowship at Concordia University, Canada in 2017. This enabled him to join Concordia University on March 2017 for a two-year period as a postdoctoral research scholar in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Dr. Kumar has focused on the development and implementation of new image priors that can provide elegant solutions for the estimation of point spread functions solving the highly ill-posed inverse problem of image restoration.

Dr. Kumar holds a Ph.D. from the University of Malaya, Malaysia in 2016. His research area includes image denoising, low voltage analog, and mixed-signal design. He has published and reviewed several papers in International Journals & Conferences.  Dr.Kumar has received the gold medal for his performance during M. Tech (VLSI) from ABV-Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management, Gwalior in 2007. He received the B.Tech degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Jamia MilliaIslamia in 2005.
