Eligibility:

M.E./M.Tech. or equivalent in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering or Information and Communication Technology or (or a related discipline).

Desirable:

  • Background in Signals and Systems/Digital Signal Processing and relevant mathematics
  • Background in Machine Learning and Deep Learning and its applications to Speech Technology
  • GATE Qualification
  • Knowledge (both spoken and written form) in Gujarati, Hindi, and English.
  • Prior work experience in speech processing (e.g.,dysarthric speech analysis, dysarthric severity-level classification, emotion recognition of disabled, Autism Spectrum Disorder, etc.)
  • Data Collection Experience from the Hospitals
  • Building Application Programming Interfaces (APIs)

Salary: Rs. 45,000/- (consolidated) per month

Starting Date: On or before July 21, 2025

End Date: November 30, 2025

(this could be extended for additional 04 months based on the performance and availability of funds). This post is purely temporary. It would, therefore, not confer any right for any candidate for claiming further extension or absorption in DAU. However, the selected candidate will be encouraged to apply for the PhD program of DAU as per the available guidelines.
