Position Title: Manager - AdmissionsDepartment: Admissions

Reports to: Director – School of Technology

Position Overview:

The Admissions Manager is responsible for planning, managing, and executing the School of Technology’s admissions operations across all academic programs. The role ensures a seamless admissions process from inquiry to enrollment, while driving student recruitment through strategic outreach, effective counselling, digital engagement, and process optimization. The position demands strong leadership, data-driven decision-making, and the ability to work collaboratively with academic and administrative departments.

Key Responsibilities

1. Admissions Operations & Student Recruitment

  • Oversee the complete admissions cycle for all undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs.
  • Ensure timely processing of applications, document verification, candidate communication, and final enrollment.
  • Monitor daily/weekly admissions progress and align with enrollment targets.
  • Implement counselling and follow-up strategies to maximize conversion from inquiry → application → admission.

2. Outreach & Student Engagement

  • Plan and execute outreach initiatives such as school visits, education fairs, webinars, and open houses.
  • Build strong relationships with schools, coaching centres, counsellors, educational influencers, and academic partners.
  • Promote university programs effectively to prospective students and parents.

3. Digital Marketing & Lead Management

  • Conceptualize and execute lead-generation campaigns across major digital platforms.
  • Coordinate with creative agencies for program-specific digital assets – program highlights, virtual tours, videos, testimonials.
  • Manage website & landing page updates related to admissions.

4. Counsellor Management & Coordination

  • Train and guide admissions counsellors on follow-ups and conversions
  • Monitor follow-up discipline and call quality
  • Coordinate with agencies and internal departments
  • Track counsellor performance and optimize the conversion pipeline.

5. CRM

  • Maintain admissions policies, eligibility norms, and documentation standards as per university regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with UGC/AICTE/State Government guidelines wherever applicable.
  • Generate daily/weekly/monthly analytics reports for management review.
Qualifications:

Education

  • At least Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

Experience

  • 8–10 years of experience in admissions, student recruitment, counselling, or enrollment management.
  • Prior experience in higher education domains preferred.
  • Proven track record of achieving enrollment and outreach targets.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong Communication, Presentation and Public Speaking skills.
  • Expertise in CRM systems, lead management, and admissions software.
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills.
  • Willingness to travel frequently and work flexible hours, including weekends or events.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and stakeholders.
  • Leadership skills with ability to guide and motivate teams.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing and student outreach Strategies.
