Applications are invited from highly motivated candidates with good academic records for a full-time, fixed-term Research Fellow position with the Smart Energy Learning Centre (SELC) at the Dhirubhai Ambani University (Formerly DAIICT), Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India. The project details, requisite qualifications, and experience are as follows.
Project Title: Solar-Powered IoT Energy Monitoring with AI-ML Forecasting Over Wireless Mesh: Rural Agriculture Pilot

| Period of Appointment: | This position is temporary for up to 11 months. However, according to the available guidelines, the selected candidate will be encouraged to apply for the Ph.D. program at DAU subject to the prevailing guidelines and admission policy. |
| Job Description: | Design and development of a solar-powered, IoT-based energy monitoring and conservation system that operates over a non-cellular, long-range encrypted wireless mesh network, integrated with lightweight AI/ML algorithms for short-term load forecasting and anomaly detection. Building on prior work in extended-range mesh communication without cellular networks, the system will operate rapidly deployable, deploy-and-forget solar-powered IoT energy nodes. |
