1^st Edition of Winter School on AI-Infused Software Engineering - Research and Practice (AISE 2026) will be held at Dhirubhai Ambani University, formerly DA-IICT Gandhinagar from 7-10 January 2026.

As Software Engineering (SE) evolves, integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a pivotal opportunity to revolutionize development processes. India, a burgeoning economy with a robust SE sector, is yet to catch up with more tech-forward nations in this aspect. AISE 2026 is a unique initiative that steps in to bridge this gap. AISE 2026 will equip participants with essential AI skills for Software Engineering. Motivated by the demand for engineers who can apply AI to requirement classification, software analytics, automated testing, performance optimization, and code generation, the program combines lectures, hands-on sessions, and tutorials. Participants will explore these practical AI applications and delve into cutting-edge research shaping the future of software development. Additionally, the school aims to discuss integrating AI and SE to provide a holistic learning experience to participants. We also intend to establish this AISE school as an annual event within the Indian context.
