Industry-Track Faculty
Applications are invited from suitable candidates for Industry-Track Faculty (Assistant/Associate Professor) positions in the following area:
- Artificial Intelligence
- Cloud Computing
- Database Management Systems
- Software Engineering
- High Performance Computing
- Cybersecurity
- Data Science
- Computer Architecture / Embedded Systems
Minimum Eligibility
(i) A Master’s degree with a good academic credential; and
(ii) 10+ years of significant industry experience with Leadership in technology/product development.
Desired Profile
Candidates may have served in industry as Technical Architect; Product Head; Startup Founder; Distinguished Engineer; Principal Scientist; or equivalent.
Tenure (Contractual)
Initial contract period is for 3 years, which may be renewed based on satisfactory performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver undergraduate, postgraduate, and executive education courses, with a load of three (3) courses per academic year;
- Develop practice-oriented, technology-focused courses and experiential learning modules;
- Supervise capstone and industry-sponsored projects;
- Develop FDP/EDP programmes for professionals and practitioners;
- Build industry partnerships and secure sponsored projects;
- Lead product development, prototyping, and startup incubation;
- Develop industry datasets and case studies;
- Contribute to curriculum development and academic programme enhancement;
- Mentor undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral, and project students; and
- Undertake other academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the University.
Selection Process
The selection process includes:
- Screening of applications.
- Initial evaluation by respective Area-FRC.
- Teaching demonstration.
- Final presentation and interview.

Minimum salary for Assistant Professor is INR 20 – 25 Lakh per annum.
