Applications are invited from highly motivated candidates with good academic records for a full-time, fixed-term Post-doctoral Fellow position with the Smart Energy Learning Centre (SELC) at the Dhirubhai Ambani University, (formerly known as DA-IICT), India. The project details, requisite qualifications, and experience are as follows.

Project Title: Improving Efficiency of Solar Energy Harvesting using Metasurface Design
Position and Fellowship: Post-doctoral Fellow – 1 post
INR 75,000 per month
Eligibility Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
  • PhD with specialization in RF-Microwave.
  • M.E./M.Tech. in Electronics and communication engineering, RF-Microwave, VLSI, ICT, with at least 60% marks.
  • B.E./B.Tech. in Electronics and communication Engineering, ICT or equivalent, with at least 70% marks. Preference may be given to GATE-qualified candidates.
  • Strong command of oral and written English.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Proficiency with programming and modeling software (e.g. CST, Matlab, Python)
  • Prior exposure to metasurface related devices.
Period of Appointment This position is temporary, with an appointment for nine months, and it will not be extended further. This does not confer any right for the candidate to claim an extension or absorption at DAU, Gandhinagar.
