Job Title: Sr. Executive / Assistant Manager – Human Resources Dep.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Support end-to-end recruitment of faculty, researchers, and administrative staff.
- Coordinate with Deans, HODs, and Selection Committees for hiring processes.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with UGC/AICTE norms for qualifications and appointments.
- Support hiring of visiting faculty, adjunct faculty, and contractual staff.
2. Faculty & Staff Lifecycle Management
- Assist in on boarding, induction, probation tracking, confirmation, and contract renewals.
- Maintain employee service records, personal files, and faculty dossiers.
- Support processing of promotions, increments, and career progression as per institutional policies.
3. HR Operations
- Monitor attendance, leave management, and provide payroll inputs for teaching and non-teaching staff.
- Prepare MIS reports and HR data for management review and audits.
- Maintain and update employee records in HRIS to ensure data accuracy and confidentiality.
4. Performance Management
- Assist in administering faculty appraisal systems.
- Coordinate annual appraisal cycles with HODs and Deans.
- Support documentation related to teaching, research, and service performance metrics.
5. Compliance & Accreditation Support
- Assist in ensuring compliance with labour laws and institutional HR policies.
- Maintain HR documentation required for accreditation bodies such as NAAC, NBA, and other regulatory authorities.
- Support audits, inspections, and accreditation-related activities.
6. Employee Welfare & Relations
- Support employee welfare initiatives and engagement activities for faculty and staff.
- Assist in addressing employee queries and grievances in a structured manner.
- Coordinate health, well-being, and workplace engagement programs.
7. HR Policy Implementation
- Assist in implementation of HR policies and procedures across departments.
- Ensure proper documentation and standardization of HR practices.
- Support institutional initiatives related to faculty development, research activities, and employee engagement.
Qualifications & Experience
- Masters in Human Resources or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 6 years of post-qualification experience is required for the position of Assistant Manager and minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience is required for the position of Sr. Executive.
- Preference will be given to candidate who has relevant experience of HR operations in the education/ university/ academic sector is preferred.
- Familiarity with academic HR processes and regulatory norms.
- Strong coordination, communication, and documentation skills.
