BS-MS Scholarships at DAU

BS+MS SCHOLARSHIPS AT DAU

(With effect from 2026-27 batch)

From the academic year 2026-27, the Institute has added new BS+MS scholarships - Merit category and Merit cum Means category. In the Merit scholarship program, program-wise toppers in their first semester will be awarded a full tuition fee reimbursement from their second semester onwards. In Merit-cum-Means scholarship program, program-wise eligible students will be awarded 70% and 50% fee reimbursements based on their income criteria.

The Scholarships will be awarded based on SPI obtained in each semester. The number of Scholarships will be limited to 10 (ten) for a BS+MS IT program and 10 (ten) for the BS+MS DS-AI program. The regulations on the award of Scholarships are as follows:

The Institute may consider extending financial assistance to deserving students facing exceptional financial constraints.

Other conditions

  1. The student must be duly registered for the relevant semester and must have paid the full tuition and other applicable fees by the prescribed due date.
  2. The student must pass all credit courses, with no backlogs, and must not have any disciplinary case initiated or recorded against them.
  3. The fellowship is awarded based on semester-wise performance; the student must satisfy the eligibility criteria in each semester to continue receiving the fellowship.
  4. If a student withdraws from the program before completion, has their admission terminated by the Institute, or is subjected to any disciplinary action or penalty, the Institute reserves the right to recover the total fellowship amount disbursed.
  5. The students applying for Merit-cum-Means Scholarship should submit the Last two years’ Income Tax Returns of the parents, the Last six months’ electricity bills, last year’s bank statements (all accounts) of the student and parents and Form 26AS.
  6. The final decision on the merit cum means scholarship will be based on an assessment of the family income, expenditure pattern, and assets, followed by a personal visit to the family residence/business by an independent audit agency.
  7. The awardee of Merit Scholarship should not be the recipient of any other financial assistance/fellowship/scholarship from the Government of India/State Government/any other private agency.
  8. Awardee of Merit-cum-Means Scholarship may avail financial assistance from any other source.
  9. The selected student must submit an undertaking confirming adherence to the regulations of the Fellowship Scheme.
  10. Submission of false documents or information will render the student liable for disciplinary action.
