Dr. Arnab Barua is a theorist working at the interface of Decision-Making, Learning and Mathematical Biology. His research is dedicated to applying the concepts of Statistical Mechanics, Information Theory, Stochastic Process, and Thermodynamics to understand the foundational principles behind the decision-making and learning phenomena in AI agents and deciphering biological decision-making and learning from a coarse-grained point of view. In one sentence - "Uncovering the fundamental principles at the intersection of real and artificial life ".
