2-3 Lines Introduction:

Competitive programming teaches participants to solve problems with prescribed constraints which is a step further than just coming up with an approach. This helps participants develop analytical, logical , algorithmic and code optimization skills. The aim of this school is to introduce participants (mostly junior undergrads) to the field of competitive programming and provide them the knowledge of tools and tricks of the trade. The school will cover core algorithmic ideas/ problem solving techniques most commonly used in competitive programming and also provide participants hands -on experience in applying these techniques to challenging puzzles and problems.
