Dr. Brajesh Dhiman is an accomplished professional with over two decades of expertise in industrial design and academia. He holds a Master’s in Design and earned his PhD from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati. Dr Dhiman specializes in design research for small-scale photovoltaic applications, with a strong focus on creating adaptive, multidisciplinary solutions in decentralized energy. His research extends into the rapidly evolving domain of artificial intelligence–enabled design, exploring human-centric frameworks for developing AI-based applications in rural contexts. He is a recipient of the esteemed Tata Group Extra Mile Award. Received distinguished research paper award, ICoRD 2025, chaired by the Indian Institute of Science. He is among the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII), Nominated Expert Panellist for Industrial Design. Previously, he was associated with Anant National University in Ahmedabad as Head of the Department of Product Design, and Director Design Research.
