On April 17, 2026, the Sports Committee organised SHE PLAYS – Women’s Sports Day, a new initiative launched by Dhirubhai Ambani University (DAU) to promote fitness, inclusivity, and camaraderie among women faculty, staff, and students.

With over 60 women actively participating across various sports, the campus was buzzing with energy, music, and an unstoppable sporting spirit. It provided a wonderful opportunity to step back from daily academic and professional routines to interact, relax, and play hard. We were deeply privileged to have the event graced by Dr. G. Venkatesh, Director, School of Technology, DAU. His esteemed presence and encouraging words served as a great source of motivation for all participants.
