The Office of the Dean (Students), Dhirubhai Ambani University (DAU), in collaboration with SAATH – Suicide Prevention Centre, Ahmedabad, successfully conducted a Faculty & Staff Sensitisation Session on Suicide Prevention on 20th July 2026.

The session focused on fostering awareness, recognising early warning signs of emotional distress, strengthening empathetic communication, and equipping faculty and staff with the knowledge to respond appropriately and support students in need. It was an engaging and interactive session, with faculty and staff actively participating in role-play activities to better understand supportive conversations, identify signs of distress, and respond with empathy.
