The Office of the Dean (Students), Dhirubhai Ambani University, in collaboration with SAATH Suicide Prevention Centre, Ahmedabad, organised a Sensitisation Session on Suicide Prevention for the B.Tech 2026 and BS-MS 2026 batches on 9th September 2026.

Conducted in the lead-up to World Suicide Prevention Day, the session aimed to create greater awareness around suicide prevention and promote a culture of empathy, care, and support within the university community.

The interactive session focused on the importance of meaningful conversations, recognising signs that may indicate a person is in need of support, responding with empathy, and encouraging students to seek and extend appropriate support when required.

The University sincerely appreciates the SAATH Suicide Prevention Centre, Ahmedabad, for conducting the session and engaging with our students on this important aspect of student wellbeing. We also extend our gratitude to all the students who participated and contributed to making the session meaningful and engaging.
