Applications are invited from highly motivated candidates with good academic records for a fixed-term Research Intern positions with the Smart Energy Learning Centre (SELC) at the Dhirubhai Ambani University (Formerly DA-IICT), Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India. The project details, requisite qualifications, and experience are as follows.
Project Title: IoT enabled Eco-friendly Multisensor System (CO gas, Temperature and Humidity) for Coal Mine Safety Monitoring: A Recycle and Reuse Approach.
| Position and Stipend | Research Intern – 03 Posts 02 positions: INR 7,500 per month (all-inclusive) for eligible DAU UG/PG students, as per DAU policy. 01 position: INR 7,500–30,000 per month (all-inclusive), depending on qualifications, as per DAU policy for DAU UG/PG students and Non-DAU UG/PG students (with UG/PG degree). | Period of Appointment | This position is purely temporary, with an initial appointment until December 2026. Any extension beyond this period will be subject to the availability of project funding, satisfactory performance, and project requirements. This does not confer any right for the candidate to claim an extension or absorption at DAU. |

Project Focus:The project aims to develop eco-friendly multisensors for humidity, temperature, and CO detection in coal-mine environments. It focuses on integrating these sensors with IoT platforms and drone-based systems for real-time monitoring.
