2.7 Student Satisfaction Survey

2.7.1 Online Student Satisfaction Survey regarding the teaching-learning process.

Yes, the institute conducts a structured student satisfaction survey for the following two exercises:

  • Course evaluation at the end of every semester for which a student has registered for the semester. This survey captures students’ understanding about the subject, instructor’s interaction and content delivery mechanism and overall course outcomes. The survey collects students’ feedback in an anonymous form, so that students can share their views without any fear and anxiety. After collecting the course evaluation survey, Dean-AP analyzes feedback and takes note of underperforming courses, if any, and shares the same with the Director. Dean-AP also shares the overall views of the said courses with the concerned instructors that helps in improvement of teaching-learning mechanism. For certain cases, the course instructor is altered for such courses that gathered poor feedback from students.
  • Exit feedback at the end of the final semester for which a student has registered for the program. This survey captures students feedback on curricular aspects, extracurricular activities, and experience about their campus lives. The survey is collected online, analyzed and necessary corrective measures taken up by concerned offices.
